About Francis

Dr. Francis Hsiao is CityHealth’s Dermatology Medical Director. He earned his BA from Cornell University, his PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Harvard University, and his MD from Tufts University School of Medicine through the competitive NIH Medical Scientist Training Program.

He completed his dermatology residency at UC Davis Medical Center and a Mohs Micrographic Surgery fellowship at Boston University, making him one of the few dermatologists in the Bay Area trained in both medical and surgical dermatology at the highest level.

Dr. Hsiao is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and speaks fluent Chinese, serving CityHealth’s diverse patient population at the Oakland Montclair location every Wednesday.
